The Remainder theorem: If a Polynomial is divided by x-k then the remainder is X=k
So if X^2+X+5 is divided by x-5 then the remainder is 25+5+5

The Factor theorem:A ploynomial f(x) has a factor of (X-K) only if f(k)=0
